I recently stayed at Planet Hostel for 2 nights during my visit to San Cristobal. The staff, especially Jose at the front desk, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The location of the hostel was also convenient, situated in the central area. I appreciated the variety of breakfast options available each morning, and the opportunity to book tours through the hotel. Additionally, communication prior to my arrival was excellent, and late check-in was not a problem. The private room and bathroom provided great value for the price. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend!

The staff at this hostel were amazing - always friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. They made my stay even more enjoyable. the common area was really nice and a great place to socialize and meet other travelers. the location of the hostel was perfect, with key attractions and amenities nearby.

The rooms could definitely use some repairs, especially the bathrooms. the noise level was also a problem, especially if you were in a room close to the reception area.

our city break in san cristobal de las casas was even better than before. planet hostel exceeded our expectations with their friendly staff, helpful recommendations, and delicious breakfast options. we loved the clean and cozy communal areas, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. definitely our go-to place for future visits.

Better curtains for bunk beds.

The hostel has a great location, just 10 minutes away from the city center and easily accessible. the staff at Planet Hostel were absolutely amazing - friendly, professional, and helpful. the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. There were sofas and a TV to relax in, making it a cozy environment. the hostel had a nice energy, with a big kitchen and a terrace. it felt like a travel family/friendly place and was the best hostel during my travel in Mexico. Cons: Everything was great! 👍.

As a solo backpacker, I had an amazing time at Planet Hostel. The hostel had everything I needed, from a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities to a bar with an excellent selection of beers. The rooftop and open spaces were perfect for relaxing or meeting fellow travelers. The atmosphere was incredible, with organized outings and activities. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to provide advice and information about the city. The location was ideal, close to the downtown area. a fantastic experience.

The location of the hostel is excellent, being only a short distance from the city center and easily accessible. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing good tips and suggestions for local dining options. The hostel offers free luggage storage for guests with late buses, allowing them to still enjoy their time before departure.

The shared bathroom and shower in the mixed dormitory could use some improvements in terms of maintenance and noise control.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel. the staff, including Carlos, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like part of the family. They were always there to help and ensure we had everything we needed. the hostel itself was clean, quiet, and had a great energy. We loved the big kitchen and terrace, and the communal areas were perfect for meeting other travelers. the location was convenient, not far from the market and center. it was the best hostel we stayed at during our trip to Mexico. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even cooking breakfast for us after it had officially ended. They were also quick to fix any issues, like the hot water in our bathroom. the hostel is conveniently located near plenty of bars and restaurants. the value for money is excellent, with comfortable beds and a nice building with ample facilities. the staff's friendly and helpful attitude made our stay even better. the kitchen is spacious and there is plenty of outdoor space to relax in. We also appreciated the hostel offering tours at affordable prices.

We had a fantastic stay at Planet Hostel. the hostel itself is adorable, with a bright and secure atmosphere. What impressed us the most was the variety of rooms available, not just dorms. They even offered to carry our bags and cooked us a delicious breakfast. Our private room was clean and comfortable, and we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to San Cristobal.
